OBJECTIVES

We Lead The Way

• To promote and support the scientific study and practice of Tour Guiding.
• To create appropriate platform and systems for the professional development, maintenance, marketing of TORGAG and a healthy interaction between all persons engaged in Tour Guiding.
• To determine, develop and sustain acceptable training, certification, licensing and operational procedures for Tour Guides Association with recognized professional norms and usage, ethics and code of conduct.
• To develop links with other similar-minded groups and organizations for the mutual enhancement of Tour Guiding as well as the overall tourism and the national development.
• To make informed inputs into all levels of the tourist industry and the national development efforts.
• To educate the general public and be the lead advocate on tour-guiding.
• To do all such other things that may appear to TORGAG to be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objectives set out in this article or any of them.
