- Membership of TORGAG shall be granted under approved procedure in force at the time of application.
- Membership shall consist of the following categories:
i. Full Members,
ii. Corporate Members,
iii. Associate Members, and
iv. Honorary Members,
- Full Members shall be, the first subscribers of TORGAG herein referred to as Founding Members.
- Certified Tour Guides received into full membership
- Corporate Bodies with affiliation to the industry and other tour related Institutions.
- Associate Members shall be students and others in training.
- Honorary Members shall be individuals or corporate bodies upon whom honorary membership shall be conferred (by the National Executives Council-NEC) in recognition of outstanding or substantial services rendered to TORGAG and / or its interests.
- Applications for membership shall be made on a prescribed form upon the payment of prescribed fees and shall be delivered to the body as may be directed. Such applications shall be considered and approved under the laid down procedures. Membership shall commence from the date of payment of the approved admission fees following the written acceptance of application and the appropriate reception arrangements.
- Continued membership and enjoyment of all privileges pertaining thereto shall be contingent upon the prompt and full honoring of all commitments to TORGAG and active participation in all its activities.
- Cessation, suspension or forfeiture of membership shall be determined by approved standing regulations and procedures in force at the time. Ordinarily however, any member in arrears of SIX MONTHS of levies/dues, or puts the image of TORGAG into disrepute, shall forfeit the membership or any other sanction as the Executive Council may determine.
